Incredibly dumb. One of those movies that's painful to watch and on the cusp of being so bad as to be memorable - - - but not quite. The actors are fine (although there was clearly a budgetary limit on "takes") but the script is nonsensical. The characters take actions that no rational person would take in order to set up "dramatic", clichéd confrontations. This is what you get when the writer, director, and producer are all the same guy. (At least he paid for some talent. [For their sakes, I hope he paid a lot.])

So disappointing even with all the popular stars in it. The first half of the movie is atrociously boring. There is no tension or mysteries or twists with the characters or plot or setting or weapons. It is, after all, an action movie. But the action is so slow and rote and uninspired, it's hard to believe these characters were actually in the military. The villains were one-dimensional and lackluster. I'm mad at Hulu for actually purchasing this film. I enjoyed "Shotgun Wedding" more, even though it was an action comedy with the same plot - armed gunmen take wedding guests hostage. I wish I hadn't wasted my time on this movie.
