It's reminiscent of cult favorite du jour Mickey Keating's Heartland Baroque, just without his signature hyperbolic presentation. Go to Full Review

Those with an affinity for genre material in a cryptic, ascetic arthouse mode may fall under its chilly spell, and even those who don't may be curious to see what this writer-director does next. Go to Full Review

Darren D @DarrenJD 03/08/2024 Bloodhound, certainly might not be for everyone down to the slow movement, but it builds an atmospheric & unsettling watch that keeps a lingering feeling of something isn't quite right within the surroundings of the story, largely down to the uncomfortableness of what might happen & what to believe. Even if you don't get into the movie, it's worth seeing for Joe Adler's excellent cold & uneasy performance that adds to the atmosphere. See more Brad P 02/28/2023 The Bloodhound is a film that dispenses with the period piece trappings and brings Poe's macabre tale The Fall of the House of Usher into the modern-day. See more 11/23/2021 Weird, but pretty mesmerizing. With some perfect out-there dialogue and a great performance by Adler. See more 04/11/2021 I have to give this a high mark for originality if nothing else. I've never been more scared in a movie where nothing terrifying happens. It's a strange experience, a new kind of emotional terror. See more 02/07/2021 Truly strange retelling of Poe. Francis visits his old school aged friend and his twin sister in a house where a wet guy slides around on the floor. See more 01/06/2021 Interesante como ejercicio de estilo, y me gusta mucho sus personajes pero tampoco su historia me dice mucho, por muy basada que esté en La Caida de la Casa Usher. Lo mismo deberia leemer el relato de Poe. See more Read all reviews
