      Me W I enjoy the old and traditional Christmas films and stories. They don't shy away from what Christmas is rooted in with the fun of Santa. Better than romance films with a Christmas tree/farm. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A pleasant enough use of a few hours, as usual in this type of movie, it has the typical predictable ending. At the end, you are thinking, if the reporter boyfriend was so despicable, what attracted her to him in the first place? Why did he have a change of heart for what he did? And what caused the incredibly fast change of character in the father? A fairy tale all the way around. When a down on her luck magazine journalist tries to find an inspirational story to tell during the holidays, she sets out to find the person who was her 'Secret Santa' when she was 10 years old. During her investigation, she begins to learn that therein lies much more than a gift but rather what it represents. However, Will she be able to find her 'Secret Santa' in time or will she lose sight of the true meaning to pay it forward? With most TV Movies, they tend to be either over the top or to transparent. This story tends to be neither showing just the right amount of humor and emotion. Even though the story lacks in some plot details, the overall message rings out very loud and clear.
