Audience Member A notorious car thief endeavors to reinvent himself as an emerging artist after being paroled from prison, only to find that his former handler isn't willing to let him go without a fight. Vince (Rossif Sutherland) did the crime, and served his time. Now that he's a free man again, he wants to become a sculptor. When Vince's unusual metal sculptures catch the attention of sophisticated art dealer Belinda (Rebecca Romijn), the former bandit takes the art world by storm. Meanwhile, Vince's former boss Kranski (Donald Sutheland) vows to do everything in his power to get his best operative back to work -- even if it means playing dirty. The main character is alright, but I just couldn't buy him as an artist/car thief. Like his actual art seemed a little stupid to be this 'hot' new artist's work like they make him out to be. The acting is so-so. Sutherland hams it up to no end and Romijn is flat out horrible like always. Even in her sex scene, she's over acting the moans. Like she just needs to do her lines normal and stop over acting. Sarah Roemer continues to be a plus to any movie she finds herself in. She is adorable here, but her and the lead dude's love story never once feels real. No real action or chase scenes for a movie about stealing cars either. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty horrendous. The movie feels cheap as heck, like a bunch of college students made it. Rossif Sutherland sounds like a cartoon character when he speaks and the sex scene between him and Rebecca Romijn is an awkward head-scratcher of a moment.
