It was filmed nicely BUT the special effects were diabolical and ruined the movie. Michael Ironside only appears for 5 minutes at the beginning. It's also called Heretiks.

I still don't know what the convent believes in and what they were hoping to gain from their "worship." A poorly explained premise makes it difficult to become absorbed in the narrative of the movie. Not enjoyable.

A ratos The Convent es una cinta que es entretenida y deliciosamente macabra y gamberra cuando tiene que ponerse explicita y gore; pero falla tremendamente cuando tiene que provocar algun tipo de emocion, ya sea terror o tension o pena y empatia por sus personajes. La historia carece de peso, y a pesar de que maneja algunas ideas frescas y que bien tratadas podrian haber resultado en una pelicula de terror muy vistosa, e incluso intrigante e impactante, se queda en poca cosa. No entiendo, porque tuvieron que tirar de "green screen" en algunos planos, cuando podrian haberse resuelto de otra forma y ademas es bastante palpable que no se lo trabajaron mucho. Sin sentido. Puede ser un visionado entretenido

I thought it's just like another horror ghost nun, but at the end it changed to another zombie story that played by nuns. well, that's good i think but kindly ridiculous 😁 . The ancient background scenes are very beautiful. For me this movie isn't too scary enough. But still i enjoy the blood effects all through it, with the last standing woman not man 😜 as a zombie nun hunter.
