A beautifully poignant film, with outstanding acting from the lead actors. Yes there are one or two flaws and elements feel a bit Hollywood’s… but nevertheless a very powerful film, handling an issue with sensitivity and resonance

Tom Hooper dà vita ad un dramma in cui i pochi eventi sono solamente di contorno a quello è che il vero fulcro del film, ossia le meravigliose interpretazioni di Eddie Redmayne e di Alicia Vikander. Due attori alla miglior performance della carriera, di spessore incredibile e di varietà pazzesca nella scala di emozioni ricercate ed espresse. Anche l'aspetto psicologico del film si basa totalmente sulle espressioni facciali e corporee dei due attori; probabilmente questo aspetto avrebbe necessitato di qualche parola in più in grado di entrare più nel profondo dell'anima. Trama non semplicissima da digerire, che si guarda con interesse ed attenzione, senza però mai essere veramente a fianco dei due personaggi.
