Audience Member What an awful film....simply awful..alleged professional critics love this tosh? Well of course they do Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/14/24 Full Review Angela G Sorry I was not a fan of this movie! Yes it seemed to be well written and good acting. Although it was a story of a woman "delivered" from one psychotic religion to just another similar one. Maybe that's how it was in those days but this is not a good story with a True Deliverance Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolute horrid story, promotes rape and and forcible drugging. Depicts some freedom from strict religious life and replaced with the God complex Thomas who believes all of his wants are righteous and godly. When in truth he is a drunken, drugged sociopath who derives pleasure by inflicting violence on others. Quit watching during the rape scene. Good Riddance. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Liam D A true and faithful to its time period and a WTF Experience Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/16/21 Full Review david b One of a kind - love something completely different. Basically a 'based on true events' depiction of the early Quakers' roots. I have great respect for their ethos and I'm an atheist through and through.
