Marcus O This movie was great, never taking a rotten tomatoes score seriously again. Wth were y'all watching? Woody is a menace in this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Rosana B Alice Braga esplendorosa, aquele velho faroeste com fotografia contemporânea... Apaixonante.. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review T T It was ok. It was definitely entertaining. I thought there were a few plot holes though and the ending was rushed. Still, it's a watchable and decent Western movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it was a very slow film with some plot holes but Woody was really strong in this. Liam couldn't keep up with Woody at times and they paint Liam as an overly heroic type of character. However, by the end, you respect Helmsworth's sense of nobility. The actress who played Liam's wife was badly miscast. A stronger female lead would have fixed some of the issues with this film. As a western, it's slow but good for a drinking-type night. I wouldn't have felt ripped off if I saw it in a theater. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member It was ok...needs a better ending Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Dunno why people are hating on this movie, it's dark well acted and the cinematography is great, it's not the same as movies before either Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com The Duel never feels long, Darcy-Smith allowing events to build with a deliberate delicacy that allows the final face-off between David and Abraham to explode in emotive ferocity. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 9, 2016 Full Review Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times Pretty to look at, but the story itself is overly long and overly wrought, a flabby two-hour tale that feels about three. Jun 24, 2016 Full Review Manohla Dargis New York Times "The Duel" has a few ideas and a glint of politics but is largely characterized by its perplexing shifts in tone and unpersuasive story turns. Jun 23, 2016 Full Review David Fontana Film Inquiry It's not entirely forgettable, yet in our current world where even big stars don't sell movie tickets, The Duel had to have something more in order to really be successful. The film is an unfortunate misfire. Feb 22, 2017 Full Review John Noonan FILMINK (Australia) Ambiguous in its morality... Rated: 15/20 Dec 17, 2016 Full Review Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media Muddled, violent Western echoes Apocalypse Now. Rated: 2/5 Jul 7, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews
