COZMIQ W Aug 10 A lot of people will rate this movie with a 1 or two star because of pacing. And I agree with them in a way. But I gave it a three because it had potential to be a way better movie. This is a classic example of one character that is not properly thought out can ruin a movie. And that characters name is Marisol. It’s not the actors fault in my opinion it’s the writing of her character. It made the movie trash at the end. If they had flushed out her character properly the pacing I feel would have been acceptable. They messed up a good movie. Watch it but don’t expect a fully flushed out film. The acting is good, the murder and atrocities in this film are emotional but its just a bore. I mean is it supposed to be an action move? - no, so what the heck is it? And I even got my Hemsworths (actors) all mixed up (Chris Hemsworth). Liam Hemsworth is a tough Texas Ranger sent to a remote border town to investigate a series of murders. What he finds is a community ruled by a weird cult leader, disturbingly played by a shaven-headed Woody Harrelson. What follows is a bloody battle of wills between the two men, as the body count grimly rises. This movie is always involving though at times it gets just a little too wordy for its own good.
