Simon S The Elephant Whisperers is a spellbinding experience that maintains the mind and the spirit in a state of pure nirvana. The simplicity and purity that one feels during the 41 min of this visual feast penetrates the soul and mind, leaving the viewer in a stripped down version of self. We fall deeply in love with the baby elephants as they are magically filmed and framed, making us feel the deep love given to them by their adoptive parents. Kartiki Gonsalves has created a near perfect experience of life, existence, love, parenting that cleanses the mind. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review Joshua W It's 40 minutes of making me smile. A husband and wife raise baby elephants. They live in an amazing place with all kinds of wildlife. It's all beautiful. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/25/24 Full Review Views Of C The Elephant Whisperers - 10/10. Wonderful is the word I think of here. What a wonderful little doc, showing that love can give hope and life to a being that is not like us. We have a wonderful story here of a couple who takes in an elephant for care, and end up creating a bond for life with the elephant. Soon another comes in as well, and we see the blossoming of an incredible love between humans and animals. It shows you the work and dedication the couple has in terms of trying to get the young elephant to speed on how it should be. Its also a wonderful portrait of the lives of the people in a small remote village. The interactions they have with the animals, the way they live, the way they go about life. Its all packaged in this wonderful 40 minute vignette of how life could be there. I loved it, and I hope this wins the Oscar for best documentary short film! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review Kanishk N Definitely Oscar worthy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/03/23 Full Review Harsh C Lovely visuals and animals. Not a lot of story though, and leaves a lot of questions unanswered.
