In the vein of "Homeland" and "Fauda" comes this pulse-pounding action-thriller based on true events and starring Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Tzahi Halevi (Bethlehem). While it seems this film was panned by most reviewers, I thought its portrayal of the confusion and chaos of terrorism in the Middle East was quite compelling. While the acting isn't perhaps Academy Awards material, and the plot has some cheesy elements, if you can look past that it is an enjoyable and very interesting insight to the efforts of the Mossad, terrorists, mercenaries and others working against and with one another in one of the most dangerous and troubled hot spots in the world.

The main actor Etan was terrible. He came off corny, didn't move like he was trained, looked out of shape. This guy should be used for comedy, not action.

Resoconto di una storia vera, seppure vista solamente da un lato e senza possibilità di controprova. Emile Hirsch indossa gli improbabili panni di uno spietato agente speciale che tra amicizie e contatti segue le indagini alla ricerca di un terrorista palestinese. Le sequenze di azione sono di rara bruttezza e veramente mal eseguite; con una CGI ancor meno performante. Non ci sono grandi spunti di dialogo e quasi tutto il film è piuttosto piatto, anche laddove non dovrebbe esserlo. Almeno risulta essere di attualità se visto nel 2024.
