Sloan B @iradi8 Dec 25 While this movie is predictable, it was fun to watch. I am surprised at the poor reviews. It is a shame that when there is not a classic beauty as the female lead, people can't seem to handle that. Mayim Bialik was great as the lead. I liked that the very handsome male lead was interested in her as a person. How refreshing! It was so nice to be able to watch this movie with my daughter and not have sex, nudity and cursing as well. I would not let the bad ratings deter you because, like us, you might like it. The premise is that a feckless, weak guy eventually falls - for no apparent reason - for an unlikeable woman. And finally - a supposed Christmas movie where literally none of the characters celebrate Christmas in any way. If the goal was to be offensive and obnoxious, the movie succeeded at that.
