Great cast, especially the charismatic Dawid Ogrodnik, who played Najmro perfectly. Love the atmosphere and music. See more avindu g 08/11/2022 Getaway King is an ecstatic movie treat. A genuine performance by the stars. Visuals rich with colour and retro styled fx is a feast for the eyes. Audio is mood setting and full of spirit. As heartwarmin it maybe a deep societal read is cleverly embedded in story. An excellent work by production in picturing the contrast of eras. A radical statement about a class that evolved while a species devolved. A species spoiled by the yield of Najmros. See more 07/15/2022 It has many disadvantages of present Polish cinematography trying to describe communist Poland, it happened to me to roll eyes several times. Nevertheless all these not perfect elements set up as quite a watchable movie. I remember real Najmrodzki and his famous escapes, it lifts up my rating a bit. See more Read all reviews
