Audience Member Gritty story sees a poli-sci professor sent to jail for manslaughter trying to adjust to prison life and not playing along with the most powerful white inmate. I was surprised how much I liked Alan Alda here, would have liked to see him survive. New inmate chooses ideals over common sense on the inside. A damning condemnation of a corrupt prison system. Great role for Vic Morrow.
