      The Guilt Trip

      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand have enough chemistry to drive a solidly assembled comedy; unfortunately, The Guilt Trip has a lemon of a script and is perilously low on comedic fuel.

inta k little funny movie of mom who's whole world is son and their trip to meet with her first love Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review SallyA Loved this film with a touch of adventure and a lot of sentiment. Great performances from both main characters. Ultimately I found it a great mum and son movie and loved the touches discreetly put in place in the very last scene confirming that the whole movie was about relationship very close to a mother's heart. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review Sushil D I don't know what these pseudo critiques want! This is one of the best movies i have watched recently, i only regret why i dint see it earlier. Looks like these people who rated it low want something overrated as oppenhiener and then they will give good reviews. A small movie with lots of emotions is beyond there scope of understanding. Its a winner Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Tomson 3 Well, if this movie should include a spark of comedy, i guess i missed it. A boring low drama, not worth the time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/28/23 Full Review Kevin D I was on a flight to Iceland on Air Canada recently and I was happy to see this movie as an option because I'm a fan of both Seth and Barbara. I made it about 20 minutes into the movie before I went looking for other options to fill my time. It was excruciatingly terrible. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/13/23 Full Review Emilliano Jr S Almost good chemistry for both leads but fails short. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Larushka Ivan-Zadeh metro.co.uk A bit 'eww' in that it's essentially a romcom with a mom and son, it's the perfect Mother's Day outing for people who don't like their mums much. May 5, 2016 Full Review Empire Magazine Rated: 2/5 May 2, 2013 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz So while this intergenerational road trip has potential, it is wasted. A comedy even your mother might not love. Rated: 2/5 Nov 11, 2022 Full Review Chris Fennell CineVue A pat, old-fashioned comedy that fails to capitalise on the substantial potential for humour of its leading duo. Rated: 2/5 Feb 9, 2019 Full Review Jordan Riefe Celebuzz Rogen and Streisand share adequate chemistry but seldom seem like the real deal in Anne Fletcher's fourth movie... Under her direction, Streisand and Rogen look like a pair of actors saying jokes written for them by a comedy think tank. Aug 21, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
