Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com The film's stand-out performance comes courtesy of Andi Norris, whose turn as Caitlin is everything you want a best friend to be. Audience Member All things considered, The Invoking is a strong feature debut. Its measured nature is a quality that more independent feature films should strive for, taking stock of the resources available to the production before leaping off the deep end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review william s Just a waste of time......horrible. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member With the relationships and unraveling story line, there is lots to like, but it just doesn't gel together well Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful boring waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I honestly couldn't wait for this to be over. It had a slow pace, five-second stills of the ground, the woods, and the fields, and long stretches where the characters were walking, running, or driving. Or just sitting there doing nothing. And worst of all, no closed-captioning so I could watch it at a faster pace. I got to the end and couldn't decide what made me more upset--that the ending made no sense, or that I lost two hours and five minutes of my life I'll never get back. The only reason it gets two stars instead of one is that the acting is superb and believable, the setting realistic, and the dialog snappy. But the pace and plot leave much to be desired. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Do not waste your time on this movie, especially if you are expecting to see a horror movie. Nothing happens. This was the biggest disappointment. I should have know when there were zero reviews on here. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
