It’s always an underrated joy to watch this brand of plotting as it unfolds and unfurls, and The Isolate Thief is so pared down and precise that a climactic shootout arrives with all the warmth of snuggling in a blanket.

glad to see Mackenzie Kay back after a decade, but with a cast of only 5-6 people, the western secretive rich story wanes thin. There are some editing inconsistencies and too many pacing mishaps at times. The biggest question is why do the women carry laundry if we don't see the men change clothes. and what happened to the guy's leg in the third act? Every actor's performances were great, just needed more witty action.

Very slow, end kind of comes out of nowhere. Nothing particularly memorable other than the mis-matching acting styles of the leads. Not bad, some good cinematography and direction, just not much to it.

For a low-budget Western, The Isolated Thief is a hidden gem I’d definitely recommend. At a brisk runtime, it keeps things tight without feeling rushed. Action is light in the first half, but the back half delivers some solid payoff. The strong acting and well-paced length make it an enjoyable watch overall.
