CC 1d Movie did not show and fandango didn’t refund me See more Paul 2d I really like the animation and pacing. And I really liked the characters, they were all very charming and funny. The movie was a little on the short side admittedly. And the ending was a bit more open-ended then I would prefer. Also, this isn’t a criticism to the movie itself but rather the theater I saw it in, I saw the original Japanese audio with English subtitles and the subtitles kept showing up too early. Like a solid two to three seconds before the character actually says the line. It made it a bit difficult to follow, but nothing too severe. Still definitely a good watch overall, I most certainly recommend it! It’s nothing too deep or grand, but still has a ton of heart and charm! While the first act may seem like a little slow of a set up, as we meet and learn of our main and his family, the ultimate story arch and final act of the film, make it worth while. And showcase that even with time and distance apart, the love we have for our loved ones and families can cross lifetimes. See more K R 3d The film itself was wonderful and the animation style was great but the subtitles were horribly off and would display the words several seconds before the characters would speak which could make for a difficult viewing experience for many. Hopefully this issue is resolved before physical and digital releases because this film is really nice and deserves a good viewing experience.
