Kris T This is a must see, all the bumps alongthe way will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/25 Full Review Christina W Loved this movie! It gave me a lot of the wrong turn meets the strangers vibes. The gore is insane. The two scenes where the people were being tortured, I had to actually remind myself that it wasn't real because it was insane. I love the passion and intensity put into this movie. While a lot of other movies lead me to looking at my phone eventually, this movie had me glued to the screen. This film is great. The acting is phenomenal. Loved the jump scares. Especially the first window one. It is creepy, scary, suspenseful, and comical all in one. I would definitely watch this movie again and I will highly recommend it to all of my friends. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/04/25 Full Review Ellie R Some good scares. I really enjoyed the pinhole camera POV in the woods. Acting was not great, and had some corny dialogue. Kills could’ve been better. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review Charlene S I should know by now not to watch a movie just by reading the reviews! I watch the trailer and I can usually tell if it's going to be good or not. The reviews are good, but the trailer is so-so. But I said what the heck, not everybody can be wrong. This movie makes no sense. The acting was subpar. The flashlight was only a round circle, which anyone knows when you use a flashlight, it's a greater circumference of light. The guy stopped running when he got to the garbage cans even though he knew he had to run a long way into the woods to get cell service. Why didn't he just keep running to get away from them AND get cell service? At the end of the movie when she was in her apartment, why was her door unlocked for the intruder to get right in? With all those negative aspects of the movie, I only give it two stars. I also didn't think it was very interesting. I am a lover of horror movies/ psychological thrillers..but this is not one of them. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review irish g From the moment you hear that projector rolling and see the iconic DBS logo, you know that you're in for a thrill ride. The Last Cabin, directed by Brendan Rudnicki does what no other film has ever done to me. This is an anxiety inducing nightmare of a movie made me feel like I was trapped in the cabin with the film crew. Brendan Goshay, Tanner Kongdara and talented starlet Isabella Bobadilla are scouting locations for a two-day shoot. This is The Last Cabin that they will ever rent. Outside lurks everyone's greatest fear, creepy clowns. Lock all your windows and doors. Grab your favorite adult beverage and put your phone down. You don't want to miss the jump scares. For those of you brave enough to continue reading consider this your spoiler alert. Whether it's a saw, a drill or even a lawn mower these masked clowns bring the pain. It's hammer time and the special effects look great. Tagen Crossly pulls double duty, not only does she play the Masked Woman, her company Cause and Fx Makeup provided the realistic guts and gore that we love so much. It doesn't take long for the blood to start flowing. The first kill is at the three-minute mark. They had to bring out the extra-large chainsaw for camper Austin J Rhodes. Now that we got that out of the way, we can enjoy a brief reprieve with a travel montage where we get to see our three leads smiling and fueling up the Corolla. They drive past McDonalds and buy what would be their last meal, Taco Bell. Back to the action, what would you do if you hear screams coming from a desolate cabin in the middle of nowhere? You go in of course. The screams turn out to be coming from a Stuart Maxheimer movie "the Girl in Cabin 13" which is playing on the TV. Let's make a deal with property manager John Fantasia so we can drink some Twisted Teas with Benjamin L Newmark who returns for his third DBS Film. He finds out the hard way "Don't you never turn your back on a F@%kin clown". It's hammer time and the special effects look great. Tagen Crossly pulls double duty, not only does she play the Masked Woman, her company Cause and FX Makeup provided the realistic guts and gore that we love so much. Who is that outside the door holding signs like "Love Actually"? Could it be Kellan Rudnicki, and who is the last point of view shot from? Could it be Masked Clown 4? I would have loved a little more character development. The good news is that it leaves room for a prequel. The Last Cabin is a must see for the indie horror fan. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/02/25 Full Review Jordan T Overall enjoyable film, one of my favorites put out by this film company. The characters Hope and Ben were very engaging and interesting, and Ben added great comic relief. I wish there had been a bit more onscreen kills and gore, vs. most being more implied. It also would’ve been cool to see each killer have a bit more of a different “style” or personality to them like other slashers with groups. There was a pretty good twist towards the end reminiscent of Wrong Turn. It was also a nice touch with the killers filming each murder. This was a good one, nice job to all the cast and crew involved! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Read all reviews
