Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A very entertaining and surprisingly old fashioned diamond robbery caper the plot contrivances of which have to be taken with a pinch of salt. At times the screenplay is ingenious and the story expertly paced, but there are more than a few scenes that require huge suspension of disbelief. The replication of the vital key is rather too easily obtained in improbably difficult circumstances, and the ease with which the diamond is swapped is laughably and ludicrously unbelievable. For a French film it all seems a bit lightweight and lacking in originality, but there is no denying the sheer simplistic fun to be had from it all, even if the last 20 minutes are a bit pedestrian and laboured. The meaning of the ending is anybody's guess.
