When Karate champion Michael Rivers wins the last tournament of his career, shady businessman Ron Hall offers him the opportunity to fight in an illegal Kumite in Bulgaria against the world’s best martial artists. When Michael declines, Hall has his daughter kidnapped and, in order to rescue her, Rivers is left with no choice but to compete in the deadly tournament. Arriving in Bulgaria, he finds out that he is not the only fighter whose loved one was taken. Rivers enlists the help of trainers Master Loren (Billy Blanks), and Julie Jackson (Cynthia Rothrock) but will it be enough for him to win the tournament and save his daughter's life?

If you have no affinity for the tournament brawlers of yesteryear, you may struggle, but genre fans will find a lot to enjoy. I loved it and bring on the sequel!

La verdad, puedo decir que el soundtrack y el ambiente 80" están increíbles. Sin embargo, las actuaciones de los personajes dejan mucho que desear y la historia es bastante simple. Leí un comentario donde mencionaban que la película tuvo un presupuesto de alrededor de 150 mil dólares, así que supongo que por eso optaron por contratar actores poco profesionales. Si espera una Pelicua como KickBoxer o la lucha sangrienta de Vandame, no te recomiendo verla.

Wow with only a budget of 150.000 euros this movie did some magic people will always try to compare it to bloodsport with budget of around 2 million USD i know it's not always about the money but if you want an 80s 90s style Fighting movie with Awesome music still movie is for you ✊️

I love that the writers don't even tried to make sense. An evil organization kidnap the daughter of a struggling point Karate champion to force him to compete? I guess a million dollars price is nothing this day. Maybe a year supply of Viagra because the competitors average age is 65. This could have worked better as a parody.

This was kind of great, but kidnapping other people family so as to fight each other wether you like it or not, was kinda of complicated. The huge guy who was unbeatable, was finally diffited.

I am on the side of the fans who actually appreciate this film. Loved the music and the fights. Anyone who is in it for great acting and an amazing story truly lives in the wrong world. All the classics had bad acting and dumb stories.

Please pay no attention to any review that has 4 stars or better, those people have no idea what they are talking about and most likely did not see the movies we grew up on. Movies like kickboxer and bloodsport. The acting is horrendous and the fight choreography is nothing like the afore mentioned movies. This movie will most likely make u mad as a fan of the genre.

Synopsis
