Allan L Feb 27 Think of this movie as an animated comic book. Not an award winner by any stretch of the imagination. I will say this. This feature is a very entertaining romp in the absurd with a quick 78 minute run time. I'm 66 and do not regret watching. See more colin m 04/06/2022 A waste of time to watch. See more 10/25/2018 The Cult of Cthulhu has discovered a way to raise their god, Cthulhu an ancient gargantuan cosmic entity with attributes of an octopus, a dragon, and a caricature of human form, from its sleep deep in the abyss of the ocean. An office worker learns he is the only descendent of HP Lovecraft, the Providence-based writer who created the Cthulhu Mythos. Upon being told the writings were not fiction, Lovecraft's progeny alone has the ability to prevent rise of the Great Old Ones, thereby protecting all of humankind from indescribable horrors. A very low-budget film, this was a fun watch. Kyle Davis (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), and Richard Riehle (Office Space) all have roles in this horror-comedy.
