ka g First - this isn't a romantic comedy. It's more of a raunchy comedy in the vein of American Pie (without the teen angle). Next, don't watch the trailer because it ruins all the biggest surprises in the movie. That said - I don't get all the hate for this movie. We watched it without knowing anything about it and were pleasantly surprised. (I thought it might all take place at the airport like What Happens Later.) Written by one of the Sunny in Philidephia writers, it has some fun moments that made us LOL. The performances weren't Oscar-worthy, but we weren't expecting that. If you can take the goofy characters at face value and allow the story to unfold, you'll have a fun time. If you're expecting a serious autopsy of a strained girl besties relationship when a guy comes between them, then, yeah - you'll be severely disappointed. While some of the gags were expected and cliched, there were enough times when we enjoyed where it was going. Having other talent like Kumar in the movie helped make it more fun. But wannabe comedians like Molly Shannon made some scenes unwatchable. Like "She's Out of My League" and "Euro Trip" - if you don't buy into the premise, then you'll hate the story. But if you can accept the basis of the screenplay, then you should enjoy the journey. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/02/25 Full Review Ed R Definitely a romantic comedy that keeps your attention. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/29/25 Full Review Yuri B Decent enough rom-com, it was funny. Definitely has some replay value. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/25 Full Review Jim H Su much talent, zero zing. One of the worst movies ever. How die W.H. Maycy ever get to direct this garbage? Why did he want to? Needed the money? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/10/25 Full Review Sophie C Even though the acting was not the best, I think this film was actually really funny for how bad it was. The film reminds me of bride wars, but in a different light. I think the change in the swimsuit was amazing I can't lie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/07/25 Full Review Eye C Only for Mrs. Daddario, the movie sucks. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/25 Full Review Read all reviews
