When wealthy stockbroker Christopher Sand (Kiel Martin) inherits his grandfather's yacht, he ditches his profession and seeks adventure as a modern-day soldier of fortune. He hires an old captain, Fitzsimmons (Ralph Bellamy), to pilot the craft, and enlists Jocko Roper (Jack Kruschen) as his first mate. The group uses a mysterious medallion in an attempt to hunt down an old sunken treasure that once belonged to the Nazis. But there are other ruthless fortune hunters with the same idea.
