Trevor Johnston Radio Times Does pretty well in transplanting film noir moves to a humdrum British setting. Rated: 3/5 Oct 2, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Martin B So much promise but delivered so little. A series of often times illogical twists and turns patched together to form something they could call a movie. The cross country truck journey ridiculous. Truck stuck on a hill, cargo emptied driver injured but somehow poetic license takes over and it magically appears at the docks fully loaded. But is that the ending, no, yet another illogical twist to endure. A whiplash special.....not recommended. Victor Matures character simply annoying in the end so hopefully his term in jail a long one to get he head straight. Not even platinum blonde Diana Dors could save that turkey. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/04/25 Full Review nick s Well acted by the leads. The movie had good pacing and turned in interesting directions. Felt more like a series of events rather than the writer trying to make a statement. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/02/24 Full Review j F The platinum 1950s sultry blonde seems a classic. The wife has little role, and only cries and bags. Strangely, the final truck scene is most exciting part. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
