Ku_ R The last film that I remember is “The Maze Runner” part 1. It is based on plots drawn by the creators from the books of James Dashner, a writer from the USA. I have to admit that the plot is not predictable and that's great. The plot is that the main character Thomas, as a teenager, finds himself drawn into a trap that deprives the hero of his memory. He finds himself in a place called the Glade and participates in experiments related to the outer Labyrinth. After some time, Thomas manages to return to the ordinary world and find refuge, but later the hero escapes and ends up in the resistance team. In the lead role Dylan Rhodes O'Brien, he played the character Thomas. The film has a prequel: Maze Runner: Kill Order, a short film by James Dashner based on the first two chapters of Kill Order. The Maze Runner film itself is a science fiction, dystopian, action-adventure film trilogy. The acting is top notch. Of course, there is room for improvement, but overall, it’s good. Pretty good set, special effects and graphics, for example a cute scorpion spider (3 meters tall). I liked the film, it is grippung, interesting, exciting and sometimes even moving. It has a large cast. The rules of the game are also constantly changing. Nothing is permanent, the labyrinth is changeable, and life in the Glade is changeable. As soon as we begin to get used to the current situation, we immediately receive a portion of new data. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review josh b Full of excitement and a cliff hanger. Udita Jhunjhunwala Livemint As director Wes Ball builds the eeriness around the complex entrapment of a community of boys living a Lord Of The Flies type existence, he is ably aided by imaginative and well-executed production design and special effects. Aug 14, 2019 Full Review Mark Kermode Observer (UK) Generally redeemed by feature first-timer Wes Ball's forthright action sequences. Rated: 2/5 Oct 11, 2014 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Despite strong performances and a fascinating setup, it feels like a typical episode of Lost in which more questions are asked instead of answered—except here, there's no promise of a new episode next week. And, for dystopian young adult novel adaptations, that's saying a lot these days.
