But his daring escape and high-octane car chase, eluding the FBI and police, ends with him being scooped up by The Misfits, a band of modern-day Robin Hoods. Led by the eccentric and charismatic Ringo (NICK CANNON) with Violet (JAMIE CHUNG), the Prince (RAMI JABER), and Wick (MIKE ANGELO) with Pace's daughter Hope (HERMIONE CORFIELD)--a mysterious group who do devious things for all the right reasons. The skilled group convinces Pace to join them to pull off the heist of the century: stealing millions in gold bars kept under one of the most secure prisons on earth, owned by rogue businessman Schultz (Tim Roth), and used for funding terrorist groups worldwide. Aside from the money, Pace wants revenge against Schultz, the man behind his incarceration. From LA to Abu Dhabi, it will take supercharged engines, forged identities, multiple cons, camels, nitro and massive explosions to succeed. Directed by RENNY HARLIN (Die Hard 2: Die Harder, Cliffhanger), THE MISFITS brings a new team of outsiders into the world of action-adventure. What to Know

      Critics Consensus

A grab bag of ingredients lifted from superior action thrillers, The Misfits is uninspired work from a veteran director and cast who should know better.

      Audience Consensus

You've probably seen worse action thrillers than The Misfits -- but you've probably seen ones that were a whole lot better, too.

harkkate Timing of events just didn't make sense. Had some ok parts, but would have rather rented it instead of seeing it the first in theater movie after the pandemic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review Cork B fell asleep. all I can say is it is better than Righteous Thieves. But not by much. Brosnan can't save this thing. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/05/24 Full Review Sara L This movie was the biggest waste of time. I signed into this just so I could write this. After we watched the movie we decided to read the reviews which ended up being more entertaining then the movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie is okay, kind of funny and the hiest that they do is pretty cool and one my personal favorite. However it does have a similar repetitive and cliches to it but the ending is awesome and give a A- definitely recommend Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review Tony Guadalupe V This Heist Action comedy is okay with its good acting and amazing location plus writing and direction which good concept of "Stealing From Rich And Then Give It To Poor" Robin Hood deal, which I like. The comedy is there in certain moments and each characters does do enough by believing why they doing this is important. However there is 4 flaws in this movie: 1) Slow Paced and take it's time setting up 2) To unbelievable with these Nick Canon disguise not knowing it is him when clearing is even through using the different voice and even I know is him just how dark he his in the country: 3) Everyone they con except Tim Roth seems rather stupid and they r supposed to be smart since they are getting paid paying to protect or at least guard the prison. 4) Some scenes are to telling enough you know what is going on before it happens and it can very predictable like all these "Heist" films. All in all I give a A-👍👍 definitely a one time watch when u r in a mood. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Leslie Felperin Guardian Waiting for it to finish is like sitting bored on a hard plastic chair and then realising your phone has run out of battery but the charger is packed in a suitcase you already checked in. Rated: 1/5 Aug 23, 2022 Full Review David Ehrlich indieWire All the bouncy music, implausible costume changes, and conveniently omitted details in the world can't force any fun out of a caper that doesn't consider what the audience knows of the plan or convince them to care about how it might go wrong. Rated: D- Jun 18, 2021 Full Review Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It's not in his top tier of material, but it's definitely a Renny Harlin film. Jun 16, 2021 Full Review Cris Kennedy The Canberra Times (Australia) Gastroenteritis is, in fact, one of the funnier plot devices in this film. Rated: 1/5 Aug 16, 2022 Full Review Josh Parham Next Best Picture The slick style tries to give the tone a spirited quality, but it is incredibly forced and feels like a pale imitation of better-executed films. Rated: 3/10 Jun 5, 2022 Full Review Sarah Ward Concrete Playground Director Renny Harlin seems like he's simply trying to recreate shots, looks and scenes he likes from far better films, but badly.
