In its celebration of these characters... this film demonstrates how indispensable every single one of us is, and how much those living with disabilities have to offer the world, if only people took the time to notice. Go to Full Review

What the “Machine” filmmakers did here is to point this out in a humorous and lighthearted manner why AI is the last thing humanity needs at the moment. To be sure, it is a cautionary tale and does so without any furrow-browed, tsk-tsk, finger-wagging. Go to Full Review

Kirk 11/20/2021 Seriously Loved this movie all over again!!! One of of the best animated movies of the year, one of the best movies of the year, and Definitely of the best MOVIES ever made period! I implore everyone who can go see The Mitchells vs the Machines in theaters Now and tomorrow. Had a wonderful time all over again and first timers will too! See more Lars N @movie_douche 1d This movie has been completely under the radar for me, and I can't figure out why. It has everything going for it to become a smash hit at the box office and a candidate for best animated feature of any year. Packed with an abundance of good ideas, spectacular animation and a poignant story, this is the kind of wonderful surprise you always hope for in a movie. See more Elyse Q @elyse.2002 1d Just watched The Mitchells vs. the Machines and it was better than expected. It’s pretty funny chaotic, but it also has a message about family and how hard communication can be sometimes, especially with how much technology is involved in our lives now. The animation style is unique and similar to that of Spiderman Into the Spider Verse. I found myself laughing, but there were also moments that felt emotional, especially between Katie and her dad. It’s one of those movies that’s fun to watch but also makes you think a little. Definitely worth it. Also, Danny McBride as Rick was a perfect casting choice. See more Justice L @RT79458927 1d The film opens with a father and daughter who have drifted apart, using their journey to mend their fractured bond as the emotional core. Technology and social media aren't just background noise; they are central to the plot. A moment where robots lure people into a trap with the promise of "free Wi-Fi" serves as a biting commentary on our modern digital obsession. While the "AI takeover" theme feels incredibly relevant to today's headlines, my perspective is a bit complicated. The heartwarming resolution of the family finally understanding one another despite their differences made it a truly enjoyable watch! 10/10 recommend! See more Mark C. @mrpiggy1992 2d The animation is beautiful ❤️ See more Julie H @julieh364 3d The Mitchells vs. the Machines is a fast, funny, and heartfelt animated film. What starts as a chaotic robot apocalypse quickly turns into a relatable story about family and feeling misunderstood. The animation style is super creative and matches Katie’s personality perfectly, making it feel fresh and different from other animated movies. While the humor is constant, the emotional moments, especially between Katie and her dad, are what really stand out. Overall, it’s entertaining, visually unique, and has a meaningful message about connection in a tech-filled world. See more Read all reviews
