I'm not a diehard Muppet fan, so I didn’t find myself raving about how great this pilot-for-potential-revival was. But that doesn’t mean I didn't like this special. It still has great jokes, the singing from both the Muppets and Sabrina Carpenter is terrific (my favourite was Rizzo's cover of "Blinded by the Lights") and the other guest stars are memorable without upstaging the titular troupe. Maya Rudolph was hilarious in her bit. If you have a Disney+ subscription lying around like me, give this a watch and, at the very least, show your support for this IP that the House of Mouse hasn't always known what to do with. The Muppets won back the crowd once before with the 2011 film and hopefully, they can do it again here.

Honestly I would much rather watch this than today’s Hentai style of entertainment and other modern animated shows tailored to both children and adults …. And adults who act like children! Doooohhhh HO-HO-HO-HO!!!!
