The cinÃ©ma vÃ©ritÃ© style of this documentary made the vicious, government-spearheaded murder of Fred Hampton all the more horrific and surreal. No talking heads from 30 years later interrupt the mesmerizing and terrifying flow to the inevitable. This slaughter as Jesse Jackson suggested in Hampton's eulogy led to "black people in particular, and decent people in general, [bleeding] everywhere."
