It's a charming detective story, set in the landscapes of the Bretagne and Paris, showing the conflicts between passion and obsession for the things we love. It has wits as well as human touch and carries one smoothly to the curious, though odd, ending. Watch out: Once the screen goes dark and shows the first titles, there is a very apt and consequential end to the story. 6 1/2 of 10 points.
