Jessica Kiang Variety It’s not just the plotting that feels bone-tired this time out. The design departments seem underslept too: the outfits are ho-hum, even those at the atelier Laura sometimes remembers she runs. Aug 19, 2022 Full Review Daniel Barnes Dare Daniel Endless, pointless and utterly lacking in any new story developments, The Next 365 Days offers even less than its vapid predecessors. Rated: 1/5 Sep 21, 2022 Full Review Carla Monfort Espinof Sometimes bad movies are worth watching for laughs, but this interminable and tedious sequel can't even be watched ironically. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: .5/5 Sep 6, 2022 Full Review Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media Threequel about unlikable couple has graphic sex, language. Rated: 1/5 Aug 29, 2022 Full Review Korey Coleman Double Toasted The first 365 Days film was despicable. The second I kind of went with because it had things to make fun of. The Next 365 Days has nothing. Aug 27, 2022 Full Review Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut At this point, I think I understand what the appeal is about these deeply silly movies, and I also think it’s a waste of time to critique them on the level that you ordinarily would. Andi S Wait... This was a movie?!?! I thought it was a really long (pun intended) porno with some tossed in party scenes! Had me fooled. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/12/24 Full Review Ísis C The sequel to "365 Days" worsens the issues of the original, delivering an even more superficial and incoherent narrative. The characters remain shallow, with unconvincing motivations, while the plot feels like a series of disjointed scenes designed solely to shock. Emotional development is nonexistent, and attempts to deepen the protagonists' conflicts fail, relying on clichés and weak dialogue. The romanticization of toxic relationships remains a highly problematic aspect. Although the production retains a flashy aesthetic, it is not enough to make up for the lack of substance. The sequel reinforces that its focus is on provocation rather than telling a meaningful story. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/08/24 Full Review Pyro W Porn but with a better soundtrack. No real plot. Conversations are just music overlaid. I have no idea what the storyline is at this point other than lots of clubbing and someone finally got a big girl job running a fashion company...all you see is her sketching designs. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/07/24 Full Review Dinesh M Of all the pointless and absurd movies I've watched, this one takes the top spot. It's supposed to be a love story, but it fails miserably. By the end, it's still unclear whether the main characters end up together or not. The plot is confusing and poorly developed, leaving you with more questions than answers. Instead of wrapping things up, it feels like the film just stops abruptly. This lack of resolution makes the whole experience frustrating and unsatisfying. Overall, it's a complete waste of time and fails to deliver any meaningful or coherent storyline. The characters lack depth and their relationships are underdeveloped, which only adds to the confusion. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/10/24 Full Review SkyRo P If I were in the mood to watch adult content, Netflix would definitely not be my first choice. The movie I stumbled upon was a total disaster, making me extremely uncomfortable, especially when children unexpectedly walked into the room. It was a messy experience that I strongly advise against. "365 Days" seems to be all about sex and trying to engage the audience solely on that basis. The sequel follows the same pattern, and both films are filled with excessive plot holes, acting issues, and seem to lack a meaningful storyline. It feels like they are veering towards the wrong direction, almost resembling pornography rather than a film with substance. Despite being somewhat enjoyable, these movies left me questioning why they were even made. I only watched the sequel because I had seen the first one and felt compelled to review both at the same time, even though I found them both to be quite terrible.
