Michele Morrone

Italian actor Michele Morrone was born on October 3, 1990 in Reggio Calabria, Italy. He decided at a young age to become an actor after watching a Harry Potter film. He studied acting at the Teatro Fraschini di Pavia and taught himself to play the guitar. His first professional role was in a three episode Italian web series "Second Chance" (2011). Over time Morrone began to get larger roles in Italian television series such as "Sirene" (Rai 1, 2017) and "Medici" (Rai 1, 2016-19). He earned second place on the 11th season of the Italian version of Dancing With the Stars "Ballando con le Stelle" (Rai 1, 2005- ). But Morrone would ultimately break through to worldwide audiences starring as the mafioso Massimo Torricelli in the film "365 Days" (2020). The film was an international success when it was released on Netflix in June 2020. He starred in two additional films to complete the romantic trilogy in 2022. Morrone's success on screen allowed him space to indulge his other artistic inclinations. An accomplished singer and guitar player, he released his debut album "Dark Room" (2020) which included songs from "365 Days". Releasing songs on his YouTube channel, Morrone earned more than a million subscribers. In 2020, Michele Morrone also started a clothing line of women's beachwear named AurumRoma which he designed with assistance from fashion designer Chiara Pollano.
