The end result isn’t pretty, but as genre fare it’s at least energetic and Sperbund contributes a credible performance as Prang, one the film deserves. Go to Full Review

The makers have thrown everything but the proverbial kitchen sink into this 93-minute cavalcade of sci-fi and horror, which will delight genre fans and deserves a far wider audience. Go to Full Review

It's not a great horror film, nor a great video game adaptation, but it has undeniable value as a hybrid experiment and cultural bridge. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Al M @Almatt Jan 12 Can't say too much but wow bad, bad script, what happened Jake in loin witch and the wardrobe you showed potential. Doing a film like this not good. Special effects were good though See more Stephen G @patient1 Jan 3 The intro to our film is one of intrigue, and suspense, and even more so, a gore feat for the eyes. So early in our film, we have chaos and terror, and it appears that all are in trouble without one of the main characters.   The effects with the chaos are something to behold, and fantastic is an understatement of the imagery used during a pivotal scene. The scene is now one of pure mayhem, and it's hard to describe without telling you the film. The story is coming full circle in its design, and it's getting more exciting by the moment.   Really fun action horror film, lots of maniacal violence for the masses, and plenty of creatures for the Horror / Sci-fi fans in us all. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 31 Home Sweet Home: Rebirth tries to deliver an emotional and unsettling experience, but the execution never fully comes together. The film clearly wants to explore darker psychological themes, yet it struggles to find the right tone, often feeling unsure of how far it wants to push its ideas. As a result, the story feels restrained and oddly distant. One of the biggest issues is the dialogue and voice performances. Several characters sound mismatched to their roles, making conversations feel unnatural and distracting. This hurts the realism and makes it harder to stay immersed. While the screenplay attempts to touch on grief, trauma, and emotional pain, these moments rarely land with the impact they should. Scenes that hint at depth move on too quickly, never allowing the emotions to fully settle. The acting is mixed. The main characters are serviceable and do their best to hold the story together, but many supporting performances feel miscast or underdeveloped. See more Courtney P @Courtney.P01 Dec 14 Almost all the main actors, their acting were brilliant; except William Moseley! His poor acting doesn't connect with Jake's character and seems very forcefully. Did he went through any training or rehearsal before shooting? Understand he's not an action actor or stuntman, but his action moves were so awkward and stiff. Curious, how did he passed through this movie audition? The movie were full of CGI, and story plots not solid. See more Jae H @JHReviews Dec 9 I was intrigued by this movie purely because of the poster and a short Amazon Prime preview. I thought, why not? Unfortunately, I won’t be getting that time back. This movie was genuinely awful. The dialogue is poor, the acting is weak, and the script is badly written, making it impossible to take seriously. It was cringey throughout, to the point where I found myself turning away from the screen. Urassaya Sperbund was the only real highlight. Even then, the dialogue didn’t do her any favours, though the effort was there. What surprised me most was how big the budget seemed for such a small-scale film. The special effects were actually decent, which only made everything else feel worse by comparison. The sound design felt amateur and often pulled me out of scenes. I only discovered afterward that this was inspired by a game, one I wasn’t even aware of. Overall, I wouldn’t watch this again or recommend it. A genuinely disappointing experience.
