The computer graphics are ugly and dated, the plot a clump of clichés, and with one notable exception, you can almost hear the voice cast scrolling through their phones in the recording booth.

So from all this, I think you can see I didn't really care for this movie, I think people should really sit this one out and let it fail so that hopefully they learn not to put out a project like this into the market just to make a little cash.

Fans of the first film may like this more coherent sequel but otherwise The Nut Job 2 is pretty forgettable stuff, and seems unlikely to generate a third movie.

Financial performance of The Nut Job spurred the almost immediate announcement of a sequel, The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature, which arrived in 2017 with an expanded cast including Jackie Chan and a robust marketing blitz. However, the sequel tragically faltered at the box office, leading to the bankruptcy of its animation studio, ToonBox Entertainment, and the unfortunate cancellation of a planned third film, sealing The Nut Job's bittersweet legacy as a key, albeit tumultuous, entry.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
