Eddie Tudor is a teenage film star, Tom Canty is a small town kid who just wants to be like his idol, Eddie Tudor. It's just a dream until Tom sneaks onto a film set, meets Eddie, and they discover they look very much alike. On impulse they swap places just for fun, but it stops being funny when the production moves to Florida and no one will believe the boys' story.

I know I'm not in the demographic that this particular production was intended for but when a production has a masterpiece (Twain's original)to work from for structure, how can it go so badly?
