Miguel G Very creative early example of stop motion, using dead bugs. The way the bugs move is really well done and expressive, and sell the story very well. You can read the bug what the bugs are thinking and feeling despite the lack of facial expressions. The story is very entertaining, and you never feel bored during the 12 minutes of the film. The only part I don't like is the ending... why are they thrown in a jail cell? I don't know if it is meant to be comedic, but it felt weirdly moralistic to me. I just wish there was a high quality restoration, which this film certainly deserves. This film put a lot of attention in small details, but you can't see these details properly in the currently available versions.
