Stefan (Curtis Bechdholt) is on the verge of making the jump from minor league hockey to the majors, but when he considers giving up the game, his family proves more intimidating than anyone he's met on the ice. With brother Sasha (Bill McDonald) still bitter that he couldn't cut it as a hockey player himself, and Stefan's mother, Ellen (Gabrielle Rose), mystified that her son wants to give up on his dream, Stefan's other brother Victor (Alistair Abel) is forced to try and keep the peace.
