Period drama that's not very pacy but has a strong script charting the events of a 17th century domestic dispute full of carnal desires.

Surprisingly feminist, this film kept me on the edge of my seat. Would Seymour be vindicated ? Very entertaining, glorious imagery, I came away with a lot of respect and affection for Seymour.
