The services of the brilliant detective Charlie Chan (Sidney Toler) are required again when an espionage ring attempts to steal secret plans from the U.S. government. After one of the spies is killed by a colleague, the murderer makes off in a car stolen from radio star Diane Hall (Helen Devereaux), but Chan soon discovers that this isn't just a coincidence. Something strange is going on at the Cosmo Radio Center, and Chan is just the man to find out what it is.

Russ G Apr 24 Should be packaged in a double feature with a Sherlock Holmes installment made within a year of this film called "The Scarlet CLAW." Both films feature more gore, or at least suggested gore, than is usual for either the Chan or Holmes B-movie franchise.
