Dale R This is the Zorro origin story. Like Davy Crockett before, this felt episodic like it was from a television show, but it isn’t as far as I know. As the origin of the character was playing out I had to Google if Batman was inspired by Zorro, and he was. This plays out very similar to Batman in many respects, so if you are a fan of the Dark Knight, you may also like this. It's the reason I love that type of mask! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the Zorro origin story. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Muito conveniente, não é meu herói preferido, nem de longe, mas gostei do filme, a trama entretém, adorei ver Zorro trollando o vilão, uma pitada leve de humor, heroísmo, esgrimas, saudosismo, romântico… Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review r 9 'The Sign of Zorro' is good fun. I've always heard of Zorro, with his famous mark et al., though have never seen anything directly about him. This makes for a strong first impression. It is a compilation of a number of the television show episodes, but it's edited together nicely to the point I didn't even notice. Guy Williams is great as Zorro, bringing the required amount of charisma and smartness to the role. Henry Calvin is also impressive, as comedic character Sgt. Garcia - he gives the laughs. Britt Lomond also gives a notable performance, as Monastario. It's all well acted in general. I have nothing negative to note, everything makes for entertaining viewing.
