Audience Member Really good movie about feuding between homesteaders and cattleman Joel McCrea Virginia, mayo, Michael Ansara And wit Bissell Hall start and did an excellent job in this movie. Yes, I will highly recommend it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/24/23 Full Review Audience Member 'The Tall Stranger' is an enjoyable Cinemascope color Western starring Joel McCrea. McCrea's work in Westerns is not as celebrated as that of John Wayne, Gary Cooper and James Stewart, but to connoisseurs, he is one of the masters of the genre... Stopping A Range Feud--A pleasing Western, with a little more grit in it than is usually found in one of the 1950s... Little known, but interesting and enjoyable!! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Ordinary looking and feeling western although it has enough going on to make it watchable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Very adequate, quite gritty western. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting Joel McCrea western with some well-drawn characters and good sub-plots. Michael Ansara is particularly sinister as the principle villain of the piece. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
