Given how much padding there is around the lively '80s throwback of the second act it probably would have served the material better to have made it as a tighter, more fun-filled short as part of an anthology.

A nerve-shredding, gut-busting throwback to the glory days of horror. The Terror of Hallow's Eve taps into a strong vein of nostalgia. If you're a fan of the good old days of this genre film, you're going to love this one!

This movie has a very good storyline to it. A kid gets bullied and gets his revenge on a Halloween night due to and awesome horror villain named the Trickster played by Doug Jones. It would be nice to get more movies with the character. But things take a turn for the worse. I thought they could've done better with the ending but overall a very solid movie

A bullied teen (Caleb Thomas) summons a jester like demon to get revenge on his antagonists. Reminiscent of 80s horror, especially by using practical effects, this is a twisted reveng fantasy that's enjoyable for the most part although it loses focus towards the end. Always nice to see Doug Jones in action and Juliet Landau (Drusilla on Buffy) was a pleasant surprise. I found the woodlands scene exceptional.

This was just a great movie. The monsters in this movie looked amazing ecspecially for the trickster who you will learn is real fast. A couple of bullies pick the wrong kid to pick on. Things do get a little out of hand and all the things that happened are pretty messed up. And what gets me most is this is based on a true story

Fun movie to add to your Halloween movie watchlist. The plot is decent but at times it seems the execution of the plot is weak and hurried. There were some obvious horror tropes (for example, Haddonfield mental hospital) presented in a playful way, and the "trick or treat" theme was regurgitated with originality. Acting is average (albeit the mother was a diamond in the ruff), but, if you're just looking for a fun addition to your Halloween movie list, give this one a shot.
