Justin Chang Variety Vaguely reminiscent at times of cult classics like Office Space and Napoleon Dynamite yet retaining a deadpan sensibility all its own, Things to Do works more effectively as a pure comedy than as a story of personal growth. Jun 4, 2007 Full Review Don R. Lewis Film Threat Things to Do is a funny, charming, sad and thoughtful film. Rated: 4/5 Jun 4, 2007 Full Review David Cornelius eFilmCritic.com There is a charm that drifts over the entire picture, saving it from itself. Audience Member I generally liked the movie, there are some weird dull parts, surrounded by some funny and touching parts . You can relate to the characters, and find yourself caring for them by the end. It looks and feels like a very low-budget independent movie which I believe it is. I would recommend seeing it Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member funny in some places and I definitely liked the part where they met up with their high school friend who used a wheelchair Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member M'eh. Things to Do had its moments that were interesting and funny and charming. But largely, it was slow-paced and didn't seem to go anywhere. The revelations of the main character seem to come out of nowhere. The backstory of the character is largely irrelevant, as were many of the plot points. And while there is some character development, the main character was just so dull that you hardly noticed when a relationship was built. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member I appreciated this off beat comedy. Worth a watch! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Independent Canadian film that almost has an improvised feel at times. Too dark to be a comedy. Gets better as it goes along. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Phony and small-minded, massaging a pompous faux-epiphany (something like an insanely bloated Garden State) out of a hollow and detestable troupe of characters.
