Incredible film. I watched Phantom Thread thinking no one could beat this film then Thunder Road blew it out of the water...thats saying something, the fact that he did almost everything wrote directed stared scored....wow..

Dramma con tinte ironiche originale e veramente distintivo. Ovviamente da premiare e da lodare fino allo sfinimento Jim Cummings per la qualità del progetto a cui ha dato vita e di cui è stato pressochè l'unico artefice; attore, regista, produttore ed anche musicista in un'impresa riuscita a praticamente nessuno prima di lui. L'aspetto più sbalorditivo è che Cummings riesce i tutti i suoi compiti e specialmente la prova attoriale è veramente interessante; il lungo piano sequenza iniziale è folle e meravigliosamente riuscito; così come quello davanti alla stazione della polizia che ovviamente può essere confrontato al primo per intensità ed imprevedibilità. Molto toccante e delicato il finale, scelta azzeccata la cover strumentale di Skinny Love di Bon Iver.
