      Reviews Brett Aimsley (James Mason) is a high-class smooth operator who always gets what he wants. Clifford Southey (John Mills), on the other hand, is a lowly bounder trying his best to imitate and one-up Aimsley. When Aimsley is drummed out of the army after getting caught selling pilfered goods, he decamps to Polynesia.
