Audience Member Made for TV. 80's style western based Sci-fi. Flashbacks of moments in time that led to artifacts at an auction and time travelers. Not box office but good for TV. Predictable ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Made for TV sci-fi thinner about history professor William Devane getting mixed up with time traveller Lauren Hutton who is trying to stop evil time traveller Klaus Kinski from changing history by changing the outcome of a stagecoach raid in the old west. "Primer" or "Time Bandits" this movie is not, but taken as a 1980s style SyFy movie of the week, it's pretty enjoyable. I'm also a sucker for anything with the insane Kinski in it. It's a good cast that also includes John Ratzenberger, Forrest Tucker, Tracey Walter, James Avery, R.D. Call and hardcore wrestling legend Terry Funk as "Bearded Cowboy." Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member If you made a Lifetime movie that was part western and part time travel scifi, that would be cool. This was not. It did have a young Uncle Phil though. 2011 movies: 19 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing particularly groundbreaking occurs in its hour and forty minute run-time, but there is rarely a dull moment. HOWEVER, throw some time travel in there and (for me at least) it's unmissable. That said, this film is pretty cheesy and it loses steam after a while simply because the time travel gimmick is fairly simple and at just under 100 minutes, the flick is a solid 30 minutes longer than it needs to be. Still, it's silly fun, especially for seeing Ratzenberger in a live-action role. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
