It's ironic that the cheesy comedy/drama Tinsel Town is about a well-known actor who's reduced to being in a low-quality acting project (a tacky musical for regional theater) because it also explains why Kiefer Sutherland is in this embarrassing movie.

I got second hand embarrassment from watching this. The acting is not even worthy of a pantomime. The writing makes AI slop look like Shakespeare. Rebel Wilson is particularly bad even by the low standards set by the rest of the cast I love a good Christmas movie or even an OK one. I will watch a Hallmark Christmas special with a smile on my face. This made me want to go out and punch an elf. Just had to edit as I saw it was possible to go lower than 1 star!

Star-struck at Christmas. Tinsel Town is a 2025 British christmas comedy film directed by Chris Foggin 👸 This film tries hard and follows some familiar formula but in the end it’s a bit messy and lacks a solid storyline… Not bad, but not my favourite either 😐 Meh, it passed the time. Just. 😐 👍🏼👎🏼 A washed-up Hollywood action hero is tricked into starring in a small English town’s chaotic Christmas pantomime, where a straight-talking dance instructor and his estranged daughter just might help him rediscover the magic of the season.
