Thirty-five years after the shocking murder of three teens, the infamous "Sweet Sixteen Killer" returns on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim. Seventeen-year-old Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) ignores her overprotective mom's (Julie Bowen) warning and comes face-to-face with the masked maniac and, on the run for her life, accidentally time travels back to 1987, the year of the original killings. A really great concept for a movie. Some stellar performances especially from Kiernan Shipka. Has the makings a cult classic, however my only grip is that it does feel like it's trying to cash in a little on Scream with a masked Killer. But a solid 4/5

This film is nothing special and doesn't break the mold with slasher films. But that doesn't stop it from being fun, it's a good slasher movie that does everything right for it to be enjoyable. And I really dug how brutal the slasher was. So if your just looking for a movie or even just something in the background while your doing work I recommend this.
