      What to know

      Critics Consensus

Tower Heist is a true Brett Ratner joint: little brains to this caper, but it's fun fluff, exciting to watch, and showcases a welcome return to form for Eddie Murphy. Read critic reviews

Not the best heist movie ever, but still entertaining, funny at times, action-packed and with performances to match.

Capable if generic heist piece, showcasing the stars charisma more than anything else.

While there isn't much brains to the film, it's fun to watch and keeps you consistently entertained from start to finish.

The film was good but not great. There was some genuine funny moments, but most of the time it just seemed really absurd. I know one has to suspense their disbelief when watching movies, but there's just no way they would have pulled that off. It seemed like they got lucky a lot. Lucky that the security guys just happened to be looking at a magazine and not the cameras for instance. And they dont explain at the end how they got back into the tower. Was no one paying attention then? Just seemed kind of silly.
