Hollywood Reporter A high-spirited fantasy adventure. May 14, 2008 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety Like the TV series, the pic features makeup and special-effects gimmickry that are far less persuasive than what might be found at second-rate theme-park attractions. May 14, 2008 Full Review Lisa Alspector Chicago Reader With minimalist and universal fantasies as their points of departure, the superheroic deeds evolve only incrementally beyond the realistic -- a deeply satisfying process. May 14, 2008 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Those with no investment in MMPR lore will find it tough going throughout. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 10, 2019 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Even for hardcore fans, "Turbo" is an abysmal action follow-up that takes the series in to a dead end that it had to claw out of for a long time. Mar 24, 2017 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media Bland '90s Power Rangers film has lots of violence, peril. Rated: 2/5 Jun 17, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews

Derek L As someone who is a long time fan of the Power Rangers franchise, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie felt like it shifted itself into all the wrong gears with a plot that made little to no sense, no construction, lack of development nor growth amongst its characters and dull sequences. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/07/24 Full Review Audience Member Probably one of the best superhero movies ever made. MCU be scared, the Power Rangers are here. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/25/24 Full Review Keith N Turbo is the worst season of Power Rangers that almost canceled the series, but the movie was fine Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/01/24 Full Review Audience Member Damn… you can tell the budget was gutted from the last movie. Even at Power Rangers standards this was corny af. Nada made sense. The performances are good and some old faces return, but that and some good parts here and there, this movie just isn’t it… Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/08/23 Full Review Sedale S Damn… you can tell the budget was gutted from the last movie. Even at Power Rangers standards this was corny af. Nada made sense. The performances are good and some old faces return, but that and some good parts here and there, this movie just isn't it… Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/08/23 Full Review David C This movie is definitely a step down from the original. It should've been a TV movie, not a theatrical it doesn't feel that way at all to me. I wished they showed the city more like the original movie. Didn't explain what happened to the Zeo Powers and we will never get a proper answer. That is why I would love a Zeo movie before this one. What I do like is the final battle is 100% practical and has special effects that need to without overdoing it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
